We are time travelers. We move through time and space in a vehicle we call our bodies, and at the helm of this craft is our face. Whether aging with grace or etched with scars of tragedy, our face is the official travel log for our journey to the Now.

TWENTY FOUR YEARS 2015

Oil and acrylic on wood | 27" x 24" This portrait of Jonathan marks two time-points on a map of his trip into manhood. If the body regenerates cells every 7 years, he is 3 generations distant than the vessel that hosted his soul when he was 13. What has kept his sense of self? Is it in his eyes or his smile? What will happen in the next 24 years?

Book Covers Made Easy Good design is about being superbly common. Every year, folks look to other people magazines to agree and dress the same. Some dude in some office somewhere decided red was happening.   With book covers, we’re designing new covers to look like successful covers, because being different doesn’t attract attention. We crave common. With that being said, let’s make nothing new.   Finding an image If our goal is to be common, you’d never need to create original assets.
