I like the the idea of combining a couple into one painting. Two portraits in one.

LOVE IS LOVE 2015

Oil and acrylic on wood | 36" x 18" I planned a series of paintings of couples and came across this photo of Justin and Chris walking the streets of NYC. They were wearing matching "Love is Love" tee shirts, and I thought, What better message is there?
I accidentally captured the dynamics of their relationship, with Chris's brows flickering with disdain, as Justin's smile calmly pacifying the moment. Chris was particularly fun to draw because his face is just so special. His illustration makes me laugh. #LoveIsLove

Book Covers Made Easy Good design is about being superbly common. Every year, folks look to other people magazines to agree and dress the same. Some dude in some office somewhere decided red was happening.   With book covers, we’re designing new covers to look like successful covers, because being different doesn’t attract attention. We crave common. With that being said, let’s make nothing new.   Finding an image If our goal is to be common, you’d never need to create original assets.
