Rebranding a Blog.

I think the blog was originally called THE NEWS HOOK. I had to come up with a few branding ideas and give it a logo.

1st Pass

I was fixated on a rocket for some reason. They liked the speech balloon. content-hub01

2nd Pass

We settled on CONTENT HUB as the name. I was really into the negative spaced arrow. I was solo in that regard. content-hub02

3rd Pass

I cleaned up the speech balloon idea that they liked. Gave them color choices to ponder. content-hub03

Final Style Guide

Horizontal and vertical logos plus a palette. Not terrible, but not a rocket. Here is the logo at work. content-hub04

Book Covers Made Easy Good design is about being superbly common. Every year, folks look to other people magazines to agree and dress the same. Some dude in some office somewhere decided red was happening.   With book covers, we’re designing new covers to look like successful covers, because being different doesn’t attract attention. We crave common. With that being said, let’s make nothing new.   Finding an image If our goal is to be common, you’d never need to create original assets.
